By Victor Blackwell First Coast News LAKE CITY, FL -- For Leesa Roberts and her son, Tre’, a visit to the old neighborhood is also a stop at Lake City’s newest pond. One year ago, the entire First Coast watched as a huge sinkhole nearly swallowed the Roberts’ home. Now, the sinkhole is even larger than before and full of water. But the house and cook shed where Leesa remembers holidays with family, are only property. During the past year, she’s lost something more important. Her husband, Jesse Roberts was electrocuted in October while working near a power line. She says losing the relationship with her husband hurts more than losing her in-law’s home. On the lighter side, Young Tre’ misses the news crews and curious strangers who camped outside the house waiting for its collapse. The sinkhole doesn’t back-up traffic like it used to, but he predicts they’ll be back to watch the shed fall into the sinkhole when the ground gives way in a few months.
