JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The On Your Side team got answers and solutions for you on this Friday.

Here are a couple ways we were able to help you:

Kathy told FCN she was laid off in late 2013 from her job and decided to apply for unemployment. Kathy said she has still not received benefits she believes she is entitled to. This is not the first time FCN has heard this complaint. FCN did a story about this similar issue in early January.

The state announced about two weeks ago that it would contract with another company to try to get things up and running on the website again.

----------

Don said he owns a rental home that was "trashed" by recent tenants who broke their lease. Don said he called a waste company to remove solid waste/debris that the tenants left behind but a pile still remains on the property.

FCN suggested he:

-Take a look at his rights as a landlord and those of his former tenants.

-He may also want to consider consulting with a real estate attorney.

-With regard to the waste not being picked up, try calling 630-CITY to get that taken care of.

-Don may want to contact the Florida Public Service Commission at 1-800-342-3552.
