LONDON -- Considering the Jacksonville Jaguars' plight the last few years, with their record getting worse and national pundits giving them less credit, some might point to the team playing home games in London as writing on the wall.
But Jaguars owner Shad Khan says worried fans should read less into London NFL games, and more into things on the home front.
"I think they need to look at the investments we are making at EverBank field with the scoreboards, the cabana and the fantasy lounge," he said from Craven Cottage in London, the home field of his newly acquired English football team Fulham.
"The London NFL games are more about economic development," he said. "The shipping and banking industries are centered here in London. We need to get that attention to Jacksonville," he said.
