JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Four arrests have been made in connection with a shooting at Parkview Place Apartments on August 6, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Wesley Bridges was shot and killed in the 6200 block of Barnes Road. Investigators say they found a wallet containing an I.D. belonging to Jarquavis De'vonte Davis near the scene.
Davis was arrested on August 8 for an outstanding warrant. A police report detailed that Davis admitted to riding in a vehicle with three other individuals when the shooting occurred. Davis allegedly stated that he was not armed but two other individuals were, one with a handgun and the other with a rifle.
Bridges and a witness, who was not injured, were standing outside when they were approached by the suspects. Allegedly the suspect told victims to "get down" when the two began to run, which is when one suspect opened fire, the release detailed.
The report said Davis identified Eltonia Lavinne Humhpries Jr., 18, as one of the suspects. During the investigation, the driver of the vehicle was identified as Roteia Hutchinson, 18.
Hutchinson was arrested on August 13 and Humphries was arrested at his residence on August 14.
Humphries is charged with second degree murder/dangerous act evincing a depraved mind and armed robbery with a firearm or other deadly weapon. Hutchinson is charged with murder. Davis is charged with murder and armed robbery with a firearm or other deadly weapon.
All three were transferred to the pretrial detention facility.
During a JSO press conference, a man named Josh Dukes was identified as a another suspect. JSO says he is in Ocala, Fla., and is being transferred to Jacksonville.
