ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- The 15-year-old boy who suffered a gunshot wound during a stand off with the Clay County Sheriff's Office died Tuesday.
The CCSO was notified shortly after 9 p.m. that Hadrian Miguel Rabadan passed away at UF Health Jacksonville.
The teen had been on life support since the incident took place on Saturday.
He will be transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Jacksonville overnight and an autopsy will be conducted tomorrow, according to CCSO.
The findings, once compiled, will be part of the FDLE's investigation into the shooting incident.
The teenager was wounded by gunfire, but police are still trying to determine if he shot himself or was shot by seven-year veteran Clay County Deputy Jason Graff, after officers responded to an alleged armed suicide threat.
