SARASOTA, Fla. -- A man has been arrested for threatening another man with an assault rifle and barricading himself from the cops.

Instead, Sterling was thrown out of the house and when he knocked on the door again, wanting his change, Rodriguez opened the door and pointed an assault rifle at the victim telling him he would kill him.

Sterling called the police who also knocked on Rodriguez' door at which point Rodriguez told officers that he was not coming out and they could have to go in and get him.

Officer's evacuated nearby homes, surrounded the house, and called the SWAT team until Rodriguez gave himself up and was arrested without incident.

Reportedly, a search of Rodriguez' home led to the discovery of a high point assault rifle, ammunition, crack cocaine, power cocaine and scales.
