EQD issued a Notice to Correct to Celebration Church on Monday, according to Landeros.
This notice is a formal statement that the Church has violated EPB Rule 4.
Celebration Church must correct the noise violations on or before May 13 or it could face a fine from the city.
In April, neighbors complained that music coming from the church two days a week was just too loud and infringing on their quality of life.
Jenny Huang, a spokeswoman for Celebration, said the church has been working with audio and technical professionals to ensure it is in compliance with city ordinances and thought it was.
Church officials plan to talk to the city tomorrow to learn more about the violation before they respond.
Huang said if Celebration is in violation the church will absolutely take steps to make sure the issue is resolved.
