(USA TODAY) -- It's been more than a year since they split. And it's been nearly three months since Ashton Kutcher filed for divorce.

And now, Demi Moore, 50, finally filed court papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday responding to the divorce.

She checked the box citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and also the box seeking spousal support.

Although there are no children at issue, Moore and Kutcher, 35, could be heading for a possible courtroom battle to wrestle over the financial terms, writes People.com, especially since there's a lot at stake.

Kutcher, who has been seen repeatedly with his That 70s Show co-star Mila Kunis, last year earned $24 million, reports Forbes, from the CBS hit Two and a Half Men and other investments.

TheNew York Post reports Moore had been hoping to have the financial terms settled before she responded to the divorce documents, but Kutcher has been "difficult" about agreeing to her terms.
