JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 20-year-old Jacksonville man now faces life in prison after a jury convicted him Friday on two counts of sexual battery, according to the Florida State Attorney's Office.
LeCorey Kedrae Stinson was found guilty of the April 2011 rape of the girl who he was casual acquaintance with. She was spending time with Stinson when he asked her for a hug. She complied and while the two were hugging, Stinson attempted to kiss her, but she denied his advance. Stinson became upset and raped her.
According to a release from the State Attorney's office, two teenage girls also testified against Stinson explaining to the jury how he sexually abused them.
"Stinson's motive and plan to rape the victim became quite apparent after her and the two other teenage girls testified," said Assistant State Attorney Stacie French.
Stinson will be sentenced the week of April 15.
