JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The husband of a former Florida Department of Children and Families worker accused of molesting two young girls appeared in court Tuesday.
Louis Vereen is now facing 10 counts, including sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation.
Vereen's wife Tara worked at DCF during the alleged incidents and is accused of failing to report the molestation.
Last week, Tara Vereen was terminated from her job at DCF. She processed applications for food stamps for the agency.
Louis Vereen is due back in court next month.
