JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has released the name of a man killed Saturday and has also named a possible person of interest in his death.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Richard Davenport of Jacksonville, according to a release from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. JSO responded Saturday to reports of a man found dead in a wood area near River Oaks Apartments.
JSO homicide detectives have identified an individual allegedly involved in the case as 25-year-old Jermaine Rashad Mobley.
Mobley, according to JSO, currently has an arrest warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
An investigation is ongoing.
