A woman is in the hospital after a horse died and fell on top of her at a park in Bucks County.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Bucks County Horse Park on the 8900 block of Easton Road in Upper Black Eddy. Officials say a woman was walking a horse up a hill when the animal suddenly died and fell on top of her, trapping her underneath.
Police and medics who were called to the scene were told not to use sirens so they wouldn't scare off the other horses at the park. Officials managed to get the horse off of her. She was was taken to St. Luke's Hospital. Officials have not yet revealed her condition. They also have not yet determined how the horse died.
