Bradley hires two new coaches: offensive and defensive coordinators

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jaguars hired the first two members of its coaching staff Saturday.

Head coach Gus Bradley hired offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch and defensive coordinator Bob Babich agreeing to terms of contracts, according to a press release from the Jaguars.

Jedd Fisch has 16 years of coaching experience including nine seasons in the NFL.  He spent the last two seasons with the Miami Hurricanes as an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Fisch served as quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks in 2010 before joined the Hurricanes.  He worked alongside Bradley to help prepare the team in advance to the postseason.

Bob Babich has 29 years of coaching experience including 10 in the NFL and six as a head coach on the collegiate level.

Babich spent the past nine seasons with the Chicago Bears, which started in 2004. He served six years as linebackers coach and three as defensive coordinator under head coach Lovie Smith.

In 2003, Babich served as linebackers coach for the St. Louis Rams.

The release did not give the length and terms of the individual contracts.
