JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help identifying a suspect who allegedly beat up a couple in their 60's.
The suspect allegedly attacked the couple while they walked on a concrete trail at Castaway Island Preserve on San Pablo Road, according to a release from JSO. The two said the attack happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 30.
The suspect apparently crossed paths with the couple and began to "batter" the male victim with an object, the report details, causing him to suffer, "several hematomas and cuts to his forehead." The female victim was kicked in the head during the alleged incident when she tried to intervene.
The suspect was described as a male, wearing a black hoodie sweater and blue jean pants who is possibly in his late teens or early twenties.
