JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A motorcyclist died in a Wednesday morning crash near the intersection of Moncrief and Old Kings Roads.
The crash closed the intersection for several hours while Traffic Homicide Detectives with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office investigated.
Detectives at the scene tell First Coast News a small recreational vehicle was attempting to make a left turn and failed to see the motorcyclist.
The RV hit the motorcyclist head-on, killing a 59-year-old man, according to police.
Police said charges against the driver of the RV are pending.
JSO has not yet released the identity of any of the parties involved.
