JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Georgia Tech assistant basketball coach was arrested last week in Jacksonville and charged with DUI.
Joshua Michael Postorino, 35, was allegedly spotted on Phillips Highway, "swerving all over the road," according to a police report from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Postorino was also observed crossing double yellow lines on University Boulevard and driving on the median on Spring Park Road, the report details.
According to the report, Postorino appeared impaired during the road side Horizontal Nystagmus test conducted by a JSO DUI unit and also exhibited signs of impairment during a field sobriety test.
Postorino was released on own recognizance from the Duval County Jail and will arraigned in Duval County on December 19, according to the court records.
NBC Sports is reporting Postorino was in Jacksonville on a recruiting trip.
Before joining the coaching staff at Georgia Tech, Postorino was involved with men's basketball at DePaul and Clemson University. Postorino also served as an assistant coach at Marshall.
According to Postorino's biography on the DePaul University website, he is a native of Clearwater, Florida.
