JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man has been sentenced to two life terms in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.
According to a release from the State Attorney's Office, Jamey Edgington, 21, shot
and killed Bruce Lamar Clark and Anaias Brevard on Feb. 2, 2011 "after a
brief verbal argument."
Edgington will serve the two life sentences concurrently with another life sentence he received for a March 2011 shooting outside of Blanding Billiards.
In the shooting outside of Blanding Billiards, Edgington shot at, then tried to run over, a man with whom he had a verbal argument inside the pool hall. Edgington was found guilty in September 2012.
"The guilty pleas in this case assure that Jamey Edgington will never again walk this earth as a free man," said Assistant State Attorney John Guy said in the release.
