JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 13-year-old girl who was last seen at Eugene Butler Middle School on Nov. 5 has been found.
Ebony Watkins has been located, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
According to a JSO incident report, the teenager got on the school bus and then became upset with the bus
driver and got off the bus.
Jill Johnson with the Duval County Public School system said at the time a school
official attempted to get Watkins to go inside the school and call a
parent, but when they were unable to do that, the school contacted the
parents to inform them the child had left the campus.
JSO had listed the 13-year-old as a runaway
in the incident report, but Florida Department of Law had listed her on
their website as a missing person.
