JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Today at Wild Wing Cafe a fundraiser will be held in memory of Earl Scott III, a local soldier killed three years ago in Iraq.
Family and friends of Scott will gather from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday to raise money for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). The event will be held at Tinseltown's Wild Wing Cafe located at 4555 Southside Blvd.
Admission to the fundraiser is $25. People attending will receive a variety of appetizers, two raffle tickets and a drink ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the event.

There will also be specials on drinks and beer buckets all night as well as a special happy hour.
Thursday marked the third anniversary of Scott's death. The soldier who attended Mandarin High School died when his helicopter crashed near Tikrit, Iraq.
All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the TAPS Foundation in Earl Scott's name.
