Man shot after argument outside Jacksonville convenience store

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man has non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the foot by the friend of a person he was arguing with, according to our news partner The Florida Times-Union.

Police were called around 5:30 p.m. to reports of shots fired at Norwood Discount Food Store in the 6000 block of Norwood Avenue, Detective Will Swanson told the T-U.

The man was found shot in the parking lot and he was taken to Shands Jacksonville for treatment.

The person the man was arguing with and the person who shot him have not been found or identified, Swanson said.
