JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man will serve ten years in prison for the beating of a handicapped worker at Publix.
Ryan Keys pled guilty to charges of Aggravated Disabled Adult Abuse and Resisting an Officer without violence in March 2012. He was sentenced Thursday afternoon.
Jay Wall was at work at Publix, when he was beaten by Keys in July 2011. Wall complimented Keys' brother's Georgia Bulldogs shirt, when Keys repeatedly began punching the victim.
Wall lost several teeth in the attack. The 27-year-old has undergone numerous surgeries to repair the damage.
