JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Northside family is unable to return to their home Wednesday evening, after a small fire has forced them out of their house.
The family of 5 adults and 11 children are receiving emergency help from the Red Cross.
JFRD responded to the house fire on the 200 block of West 41st Street around 6:00 Wednesday afternoon.
Only one room was damaged by the fire. While there was not extensive damage, the house's structure prevents the family from living in the house while that one room has been burned.
The Red Cross is also supplying the family with food and clothing.
No word yet on when they can return.
