GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -- The Glynn County Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of a Jacksonville man.
Richard Hollis, 49, was found dead in the trunk of his car in the early morning hours on Monday, Sept. 10. Hollis had exited Interstate 95 at exit 42 and pulled to the edge of Georgia Highway 99 to change a flat tire, according to a release from GCPD.
Police want to speak with people who were in the same area on that morning between 4:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. and may have seen, spoke with, came in contact with, or offered to help Hollis.
They are also seeking information about a person or persons who were driving a maroon or red sedan in the same area as Hollis around the same time.
Additionally, the police want to speak with individuals driving a gray Ford pick-up truck and a green pick-up towing a trailer that may have offered Hollis help.
If you have information, call the GCPD at (912) 554-7802 Investigations, or Silent Witness at (912) 264-1333.
Hollis retired a month ago from Bubba Burgers, where he was vice president of operations, according to our Florida Times-Union news partner.
