JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Mitt Romney is in Jacksonville for the second time in two weeks.
He arrived via plane just before 10 p.m. Tuesday at Signature Air, a private company by the Jacksonville airport.
Gov. Romney did not do any interviews, only waved before getting into the waiting vehicle.
Romney will be at a fundraiser Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. He joins his wife, Ann, who was in Jacksonville Tuesday to prep USO care packages.
This makes a total of two visits for Romney to Jacksonville in two weeks, plus one to St. Augustine last month.
Both parties are making their mark in Florida. The state is considered one of the biggest battleground states of the 2012 election.
President Obama was in Jacksonville in July and Michelle Obama visited Naval Station Mayport last month.
Wednesday morning the Obama campaign's director for veterans and their families is scheduled to speak in Jacksonville at the Friendship Fountain at 10:00 a.m.
