JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A First Coast woman uses her own home to remember the 9/11 attacks.
Rhonda Mitchell-Addo is Jacksonville native, but lived in New York City several years. She even saw the towers being erected.
Addo has had a mural added to her living room mall.
She says guests who come over instantly take notice of it. She sees it every day, but on the anniversary, she takes the time to reflect.
"I can't explain it, but it was personal in a sense when this happened, 9/11. It was as though something that we knew about, something that we saw, the embryonic part of it, it evolved, and then all of a sudden it was gone."
Both of her sons were also born in NYC.
