ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Osceola County man was indicted Friday by a federal grand jury on federal charges of production, transportation and possession of child pornography.
U.S. Attorney Robert O'Neill in Orlando made the announcement about John David Baker, 29, through a press release.
Baker is facing two production counts, 15 transportation counts and a possession count, according to O'Neill.
Baker is being charged with crimes he allegedly committed between November 2008 and January 2011, according to a detailed police report O'Neill provided.
The U.S. Marshals Service is holding Baker while he is awaiting his detention hearing.
The hearing is set for September 12, and will be prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney D. Rodney Brown.
The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, and also by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
