JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Homicide detectives with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office are investigating a shooting in Oceanway that left one person dead.

Detectives at the scene tell First Coast News three people were shot in a home in the 3000 block of Hickory Landing Court.  One person died and one was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.

Police said there was a third person in the home at the time of the shooting.  That person is being interviewed as a witness.
