JACKSONVILLE, FLA. -- A 49-year-old Jacksonville man has been indicted on child pornography charges.
The indictment charges Arnold Bernard Conrad, Jr. with two counts of receiving child pornography over the Internet and one count of possession of child pornography, according to a new release from U.S. Attorney Robert E. O'Neill.
If convicted on either of the receipt counts, Conrad faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. If convicted of the possession count, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Conrad was arrested as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative following an investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
