JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a sexual battery that took place on the campus of Jacksonville University.

Ronald Jaye Malloy Jr., 24, was positively identified by the female victim Tuesday morning, according to information from JSO.

August 7 the victim was forced at gunpoint to get into a vehicle in the 6100 block of Arlington Expressway. Malloy then drove her to the JU campus at 2800 University Boulevard.

When the victim got out of the vehicle after Malloy sexually battered her, she was able to see a partial tag number and see the vehicle to get a description, according to JSO.

Police identified Malloy on Saturday and the victim positively identified him on Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon, Malloy was arrested by the JSO Sex Crimes Unit.

Malloy is charged two counts of armed sexual battery, one count of kidnapping and one count of sexual battery.  He is currently being held in the Duval County Jail and is not eligible to receive bond.
