Cummings was convicted in 1984 of committed a lewd act in the presence of a child. He was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison and three years of probation.
In 1989, Cummings was once again found guilty of a sex crime, this time lewd, lascivious or indecent act up on a minor child. This time Cummings touched a five- and an eight-year-old girl inappropriately while they climbed a fence. For that crime, Cummings received a sentence of seven years in prison.
Cummings was once convicted for a lewd, lascivious or indecent act upon a child in 1999. Cummings was sentenced to one year in jail and two years of sex offender probation for inappropriately touching a seven-year-old girl.
In 2011, Cummings violated his probation and failed to register as a sex offender numerous times.
A jury decided Wednesday afternoon to send Cummings back to the confinement facility after a civil trial.
