Gabby Douglas is America's sweetheart. No doubt about it. Everyone - including Oprah, Nicki Minaj and Elizabeth Banks - is cheering her Olympic accomplishments.

But, social media is full of haters, too. And as Gabby flew, twirled and pointed her toes to the Gold, comments began to appear about her hair.

According to the Daily Mail, Jezebel and SportyAfros.com, here are some:

She needs some gel and a brush...

Someone needs to give her a hair intervention...

"I love how she's doing her thing and winning,'' Latisha Jenkins, 22, of Detroit told The Daily Beast. "But I just hate the way her hair looks with all those pins and gel. I wish someone could have helped her make it look better since she's being seen all over the world. She representing for black women everywhere.''

Now, if you search Gabby Douglas and hair, you pretty much get nothing but outrage and dismay.
