Medals will be awarded in the following sports and events:

-Fencing: Women's Individual Epee
-Gymnastics: Men's Team final
-Judo: Women's 57kg, Men's 73kg
-Shooting: Men's 10m Air Rifle
-Swimming: Men's 200m Freestyle, Women's 100m Backstroke, Men's 100m Backstroke, Women's 100m Breaststroke
-Weightlifting: Women's 58kg, Men's 62kg
Athletes from Team USA will compete in several events, including the following:
Gymnastics: Men's team final
Swimming Finals:

Women's 100m Breaststroke
Also, UGA's Allison Schmitt and Missy Franklin will attempt to qualify for the Women's 200m Freestyle

Women's Basketball: U.S. vs. Angola
Beach Volleyball: Misty May-Treanor/Kerri Walsh Jennings
Boxing: Marcus Browne
Canoe/Kayak: Woodstock's Eric Hurd and Marietta's Jeff Larimer
Diving: Men's Synchronized 10m Platform (Boudia/McCrory)
Shooting: Carrollton's Jonathan Hall, Eatonton's Vincent Hancock
Tennis: Andy Roddick, UGA's John Isner, Venus Williams and Serena Williams.
