JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 19-year-old has been arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office after allegedly breaking into a home and sexually battering one of the residents.
On the evening of July 18, police were called to a burglary at a residence in which one of the victims was forced to have sexual intercourse against her will.
The victim told police a person who she knows, James Hall III, came into her home through the unlocked front door with two other unidentified men, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office
The victim said the three men chased her and another girl into an upstairs bedroom.
Once in the room, the report says, the two unidentified men held one of the victims down on the floor in the hallway. Hall, who was in the room with the victim, removed her pants and forced her to have intercourse.
The victim who was not sexually battered said she heard the other victim yelling for him to stop.
The victim was able to identify Hall from a photo from Facebook. According to the report, the victim and Hall were friends on the social networking site.
Hall came to the Police Memorial Building on Tuesday where he was questioned by police and subsequently arrested.
He is charged with burglary to a dwelling, making an assault or battery upon any person and sexual battery.
