JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- On Friday, civil rights leader Martin Luther King III will be in town for a rally in support of Marissa Alexander.
Also in attendance will be Congresswoman Corrine Brown, local NAACP representatives, clergy, politicians and community leaders, according to a release from Brown's office.
Alexander is the Jacksonville mother serving 20 years for firing a warning shot at her ex-husband. Her stand your ground defense was denied.
