JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens will offer guests $2 admission Monday, July 9th. The zoo is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday.
Tickets will be sold until 4 p.m. With the purchase of a ticket, zoo guests can take refuge from the heat in the 4,000 square food Splash Ground area at Play Park, one of the zoo's many air conditioned buildings or stop by one of the restaurants, cafes, outside fans or cool treats that will be offered at mobile locations.
The zoo is asking guests to use sun screen, bring refillable water bottles and dress appropriately for the weather. They also ask that if you are bringing your young child to play in the Splash Ground to please bring water proof diapers.
The $2 price is good for General Admission and is not valid with other discounts. There is no coupon required to take advantage of the discount. Admission to the train, carousel, Butterfly Hollow, 4-D Experience Ride and Stingray Bay is not included in this price, however guests may purchase those tickets individually.
