JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man is behind bars after blood from a murder victim was discovered on his shoes.
Dennis Thurnado Glover, 48, is accused of strangling and stabbing Sandra Jean Allen on May 30, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Lt. Rob Schoonover announced Thursday at a news conference.
Schoonover stated the victim, Allen, and the suspect, Glover, were involved in a sexual relationship of some kind prior to Allen's death.
According to the police report, Glover and his girlfriend claimed to have heard screams coming from Allen's residence at 2345 4th Avenue. Glover later went to check on the victim and found her deceased in her home.
