JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- In his 20 years as the head boys basketball coach at Wolfson High School, Bruce Rosebrock has led the Wolfpack to wins in 469 of the 611 games that he's coached in, but now he's fighting his toughest opponent yet, cancer.
Rosebrock first discovered a tumor in his abdominal area the day before his team played in the Final Four this past March. Since then, he's been diagnosed with a rare form of Sarcoma. He's undergone 5 chemotherapy treatments and has a few more scheduled.
This summer, when he's feeling up to it, Rosebrock is back on the bench with his team during summer league games. He hopes to win his fight against Cancer so he can coach the Wolfpack this winter.
