CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. -- More flooding in Camden County has forced the closure of Highway 40.
As of 9 a.m. Sunday, the Georgia Department of Transportation closed the road between Camden and Charlton Counties to all traffic.
Water is flooding the road there.
Mark Crews with the Camden County Emergency Management Office said few homes are in the area where Highway 40 is closed.
However, he said because it is an east-west corridor for drivers between Camden and Charlton Counties, the closure is expected to impact traffic.
