JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for certain JEA customers in the 103rd Street area.
The advisory is being issued due to a water main break on Tuesday.
Residents affected by the advisory should boil water used for drinking
and food preparation or use bottled water for those purposes. Bring water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute prior to using for drinking, food preparation or cooking.
The advisory is scheduled to be in effect through June 28 at 5 p.m. Unless JEA issues an additional advisory, customers should consider the boil water advisory to no longer be in effect after that time.
Affected areas are:
- 7900 103rd Street - Hillman Square Shopping Center including Cyber Cafe, Home Medical Supply, El Tucanazo, Nails4U, A Divine Design, Cinema Coin Laundry, The Golden Ox, Ebony and Ivory, God's Prophets, Success Chinese Restaurant, Jackson Hewitt, La Tapatio and The Cleaners.
- 7940 103rd Street - IHOP
- 7960 103rd Street - The Westcreek 1 and The Westcreek 2.
