MIAMI, Fla. -- A teenager in South Florida is recovering after being shot in the head with a fishing spear.

16-year-old Yasser Lopez was heading spear fishing with a friend when was accidentally shot in the head.

The spear entered just above his right eye and penetrated through his brain to the back of his skull.  It took doctors three hours to remove the spear.  Lopez is now starting an intensive rehabilitation program.
