LITTLE CANADA, Minn. -- Six people were injured after a runaway truck slammed into a side of a bar. It happened at Gordie's Place bar Wednesday afternoon.

Surveillance video shows several patrons talking with one another at the bar and then moments later a pickup truck crashing through the wall.

"You could see it flying through the air before the boom," said the bar's manager Pat Sazenski.

Officials say a 51-year-old woman suffered a medical condition while driving on Little Canada Road, taking out a light pole and then slamming her truck into the building.

"It happened like that, you didn't have time to react," he said.
Sazenski just missed getting crushed after seeing debris coming toward the building.

"I seen a pole flying, and I thought that was kind of strange. And I heard a boom than a truck came right through a wall," he said.

Amongst the debris, three people were pinned up against the bar.

Jim Cossak, whose father owns the bar, just happened to be in the parking lot working on a bobcat. He used the rig to help pull the truck away from the patrons.

"They were dazed. They didn't know what happened. My fiancé went up to the woman pinned to try to help her and free the stuff away from her," he said.

A total of six people were taken to the hospital, including the driver. Officials say two of the patrons were seriously injured. Their updated conditions were not immediately available.

"There should have been people killed," said the owner Tom Cossak. "The bartender happened to be at this end of the bar or he would have been crushed."

That said, he is fine with his bar suffering the worst of the injuries. "I just hope those people come out okay,"
