JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has arrested a woman they say stabbed her mother's fiance during an argument over a pack of cigarettes.
Police have arrested 43-year-old Yolanda Stills and charged her with murder.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Sergeant T.K. Waters said police responded to an apartment complex in the 2600 block of Jammes Road near Wilson Boulevard around 5:30 Saturday morning. Waters said there had been reports of a cutting.
When deputies arrived at the complex they found 56-year-old Ricardo McMillan had been stabbed. McMillan was taken by rescue units to Orange Park Medical Center where he later died.
The victim is the fiance of the suspect's mother, according to Stills' arrest report.
Stills has a lengthy arrest record. She has been arrested 34 times in Duval County dating back to 1994. Her multitude of arrests include charges of battery, assault, possession of controlled substances, resisting police and arson. Stills has also been arrested six times for prostitution dating back to 1994.
