ST. JOHNS, Fla. -- A person is dead after a train crash in St. Johns County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened around 4:30 a.m. on Racetrack Road and U.S.1 North.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the crossing arms were down and flashing.

F-H-P says the driver of the car, Beau Taylor, 28 has died.

People on the train were not hurt.
