JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A train accident at McDuff and Post closed the roads and stopped a train for a short while Saturday morning.

Police spokeswoman Melissa Bujeda says a 98 year old woman was driving a vehicle, got confused, and stayed on top of the train tracks.  The train engineers did see her from afar and attempted to stop.  The train made impact with the vehicle at a slow speed.

The woman did not show signs of injury but because of her age was  transported to a local hospital.

The train was back underway in less than an hour.
