JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The World Poker Tour held a main event in Jacksonville this week with a prize pool of $1.5 million.
They built a stadium/TV studio in the new Best Bet poker room on Monument Road for the final day of action.
the whole event started with 320 players, with eight Jacksonville participants making it to the second to last day.
Six players made it to the last night, and a winner should be crowned by sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
The winner takes home roughly $400,000 of the total purse.
