JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a suspect who took a purse from a car, and then bought gas with a debit card in the purse.
On April 2, Yaneris E. Marchena reported to police that her purse was taken from a vehicle in the 9500 block of Wagner Road.
An investigation found that the purse was taken by an unknown suspect, who then used a debit card in the purse to purchase gas at a Kangaroo Gas Station, 4129 Sportsman Club Road, Jacksonville, according to a JSO release.
The suspect was driving a white Chevrolet Blazer and investigators believe he lives or frequently visits the northside of Jacksonville.
