JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One woman has been arrested in the investigation of a meth lab by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad on the city's Westside.
No one else was home at the time. Tom Francis with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said their HAZMAT team was investigating the scene as well.
The home is located in the 8800 block of Normandy Boulevard and the lab was located in a shed behind the house, according to JSO.
When investigators arrived, the brew/chemicals were found in their most volatile stage of "cooking."
The investigation has one eastbound lane of Normandy Boulevard at Hammond Boulevard closed.
JSO has made 5 meth lab busts this year, and 17 were made in 2011.
