JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Wolf Blitzer was plenty enthusiastic about the University of North Florida during the January GOP debate on campus.
Now the university is getting a check for $30,000, and UNF spokesperson Sharon Ashton said the money is just to cover the costs of hosting the event.
But the school hopes to gain more than money from their time in the national spotlight.
In addition, Ashton said the school saw a 133 percent increase in media coverage and gained a big following on Facebook and Twitter.
It's too early to know if the event helped enrollment, but Ashton said five million people saw the campus on TV.
