ORANGE PARK, Fla. --The Orange Park Fire Department has released the identity of a woman killed in a fire at an Orange Park duplex.
Denise Martindale, 45-years-old, was found unconscious and not breathing by firefighters at her home in the 500 block of Macintosh Avenue, according to a press release from Orange Park Fire Chief Ty Silcox.
Someone called in the fire just before 9 p.m. Thursday and Silcox said the fire was so small crews barely saw any smoke.
Now the Orange Park Police Department and the fire marshal are trying to determine what caused that fire. Silcox said at this time the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
