PALATKA, Fla. -- Deputies have released details of how they said they found twin one-year-old boys at a home in Palatka.
According to a report from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, Michael and Kaitlynn Turner tied one of their son's hands behind his back and deputies found him lying on his stomach. The other had his legs tied together, deputies said.
After deputies untied the children, they said Kaitlynn Turner told them her doctor had advised her to tie the children's legs together to prevent them from becoming bowlegged.
The Turners were arrested on child abuse charges.
